Product Manager II

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Product Manager II to join our rapidly growing Innovation team.

As a Product Manager II, you will be exposed to all facets of the business and be encouraged to learn and develop skills both within and beyond your role. You’ll be working in one of the most collaborative offices in Center City Philly, developing and working with machine learning technology, surrounded by passionate, high-performing individuals.

The Product Manager II candidate is an self driven, curious and passionate individual who enjoys working cross functionally with sales, customer service and product innovation to drive the product roadmap and growth objectives.  This role will be responsible for launching Amazon as a new product channel for Sidecar.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B client-facing role
  • 3+ years of Product Management for SaaS products
  • Experience launching new products
  • Background in customer service/strategy/operations, software engineering or data science
  • Excellent listening and clear communication skills
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interact with data scientists and engineers alike
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to articulate abstract concepts, and create a clear path toward execution
  • A creative mindset with the aptitude to think outside the box and escape the status quo
  • Intellectual curiosity - enjoying new ideas, the opportunity to learn, and grasping concepts quickly

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with agile development methodologies
  • Experience in an adtech, e-commerce, digital marketing
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Bachelor’s in a STEM program or Communications

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Launch Amazon as a new Channel for Sidecar
  • Research on Amazon Advertising Ad platform to figure out execution of campaigns in scale via API’s and automation
  • Reporting on performance
  • Identify and recruit customers/prospects for product beta
  • Recommend organizational needs to consume tool and services needed to augment offering
  • Oversee phased rollout or beta, general availability
  • Establish and execute the product roadmap, working closely with UX, Project Management, Engineering and Data Science teams
  • Author product epics and stories, maintain and prioritize the feature backlog, and coordinate releases for defined product areas
  • Drive training, documentation, and product support for Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
  • Communicate with teams across the company to gather feedback that will serve as a key input for product roadmap decisions
  • Support product execution by developing product documentation and backlogs with Engineering teams and contributing to product decisions for active projects
  • Work closely alongside Product Marketing to lead the go-to-market strategy, including driving product launches, feature rollouts, etc
  • Put yourself in the customer’s shoes -- through research and direct customer contact -- to represent the needs of our customers in our product development process
